Easy Strawberry Jam

Ingredients

  • 6 cups chopped strawberries (about 1 1/2 pounds)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons créme de cassis or 2 tablespoons black currant syrup, plus 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cardamom

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a 12" Gourmet Fry Pan over medium-high heat. Bring to a boil.
  2. Reduce heat and simmer until reduced to 2 cups, stirring occasionally (about 1 hour).
  3. Cool completely; cover and chill 8 hours before using.
  4. Store jam in the refrigerator for up to one month.
