Honeydew and Honey Wine Slushies

Ingredients

  • 3 cups chopped honeydew melon
  • 2 cups pinot grigio or mild white wine, chilled
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Directions

  1. Peel melon with a Hardy Slicer, remove seeds with an Ice Cream Scoop and chop into 1 inch pieces. Put in a plastic bag, place in freezer until frozen.
  2. Pour wine into a blender, add about half of the frozen melon, the ice cubes and honey and blend until smooth. Add remaining melon and blend until smooth.
  3. Pour into glasses and garnish each with a fresh strawberry.
