Cobb Salad with Apple and Pear

  • 6 cups romaine or butterhead lettuce, chopped
  • 6 thick slices bacon, cooked crispy and diced
  • 1/2 cup pecan halves, chopped
  • 2 large hard-boiled eggs, peeled and diced
  • 1 apple, diced (we recommend a tart apple like Granny Smith)
  • 1 pear, diced (we recommend a Bosc or Anjou)
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup blue cheese


  1. Line a bowl or serving platter with lettuce. In small rows, arrange bacon, pecans, eggs, apple, pear, cranberries and cheese. Serve with your favorite creamy dressing or fruit vinaigrette.
