Sauce Pans

To Use:

Low- Moisture Method: select the correct size pan. Foods cook best when they fill or nearly fill the pan; most fruits and vegetables, when rinsed or frozen, contain sufficient moisture to cook without adding water. It may be necessary to add a minimal amount of water up to a cup. Only add water or liquid if the food being cooked does not contain enough moisture of its own; water is necessary for preparing soups, dry cereals, rice and pasta, and when steaming fruits and vegetables. Cover pan, except in cases where foods require constant stirring such as gravies and puddings and boiling eggs. Cook on medium heat until steam escapes, then reduce to low heat. Do not peek - lift lid as little as possible to avoid steam escaping.
