Oct 6, 2009
September 28, 2009, Olean, N.Y. – Consumers nationwide will get an inside peek at how two of CUTCO Cutlery’s products are made during the Science Channel’s “How It’s Made” show, October 9 at 9 p.m. E.T.
The show will take viewers to the CUTCO factory on East State Street in Olean, showing step-by-step how the company’s Vegetable Peeler and Pizza Cutter are manufactured.
“Viewers will be able to see the entire process – including blanking patterns from sheets of steel to heat treating to grinding special edges and attaching handles,” said Kathleen Donovan, coordinator of public relations for CUTCO. “The result is top quality Peelers and Pizza Cutters that, like all of our products, are backed by a Forever Guarantee.”
This will be the second time this year that CUTCO has been on the ‘How It’s Made’ television show. In May, the manufacturing process of the company’s Super Shears was featured. This will also be the fifth time in four years that CUTCO has been on a national television show.
CUTCO Cutlery Corp., headquartered in Olean, N.Y., is the largest manufacturer of high-quality kitchen cutlery and accessories in the United States and Canada.
