CUTCO Weeder wins National Home Gardening Club Seal of Approval

Olean, N.Y., Sept. 1, 2009 – CUTCO’s Garden Weeder has won the Member Tested and Recommended Seal of Approval from the National Home Gardening Club. The garden tool was tested by 154 club members who gave it an outstanding rating of 9.3 out of 10.

“I have used other similar products and this one seems to be the most comfortable to handle for long periods of time and the sharpness of the tip makes fast work of roots,” said tester John Stockton.
The Weeder, measuring 12 ½ inches overall, is designed to penetrate deep into soil to get at the base of stubborn weeds, and its sharp, forked tip cuts weeds off at the root. It works well for reaching under low perennials, weeding among thorny plants or prying weeds from cracks between paving stones.
The Weeder is the fourth CUTCO garden tool to receive the National Home Gardening Club’s Member Tested and Recommended Seal of Approval. CUTCO’s Cultivator, Garden Trowel and Transplanting Trowel were previously awarded the seal of approval.
