I absolutely love the trimmer knife. I use it every day weather it is cutting meat or vegetables or fruit. It is just the right size and cuts beautifully. It cuts thru the toughest meat or the most delicate vegetable or fruit. I've used it to cut semi-frozen chicken to delicate raspberries, and it always works great. I love all the Cutco knives, but the trimmer is my favorite!

Several years ago I met a wonderful Cutco sales person at our Home Fair in our County. She came to my home sharpened my knives and assisted me in sending the few that needed new blades to the Company. My favorite knife is the Hardy slicer. I also love my potato peeler, its the best ever and I have purchased several as gifts. My sister recently found a representative in Texas and is having her knives sharpened. Great for pies and easy as a server to the plate. Works really well when making krispy treats as a mixer of the sticky marshmellows with the rice krispies, one can easily scrape the sides and get all the mixture evenly distributed. Also got a few compliments from other people when they see them. So far, we lost one steak knife someone took it to lunch! But the other knives are almost as new! Got the steak knife replaced
Could not live without my chef's knife, but ALL of them run a close second!!!!!! Really can't be without any of them!

For sushi, this is the knife to have--those paper-thin slices of fresh, raw fish are beautiful, and the my santoku comes through just as well on raw meats. Try broiling orange slices wrapped in see-through chicken filets lightly dusted with paprika for an eye-popping, yummy appetizer. This is the most-used tool in my drawer. I love the feel in my hand, the perfect size of the blade, and the fact that I can use it to scoop mayo from the jar, spread it on bread, cut tomatoes, and then cut the sandwich all with one tool. What a great item. I always take it on vacation when we are renting.

I love the balance and design of the cheese knife. Not only does cheese not cling, but you can slice tomatoes thinner than on my mandoline. It does a beautiful job on slicing rolls quickly, as well as all the other condiments for sandwiches. It is one knife I would keep no matter what. I have owned four other top end brands, and Cutco knives are the very best. The giant Cutco knife block is on the counter, but the cheese knife is in the drawer where I work most often. actually, it's the sissors.
Tell us why:
I bought a set of Cutco knives in 1968...the set cost me $99! My father, who is a gourmet cook, thought I was crazy, and said a lifetime guarantee is only as good as the company is in business. But about 20 years later, he was visiting and used my knives, and loved them.....to which I said they were my "$99 knives" and they were as sharp as the day I bought them. I love my Cutco knives, but it's the sissors I use every day for one reason or another. Once my dog got a can stuck on her snout (trying to clean it out after stealing it from the trash). The only thing to do was cut it off as it was hooked on her teeth. The sissors did the job, and the dog was fine. I had a need to replace a knife after about 30 years because the tip broke and it was replaced with no questions asked. How many companies are around for a long time and stand by their guarantee? I am a firm believer in the company and the product.

Cutco doesn't make that particular knife any longer and I miss it sooooo much! It was the perfect small size to have in my pocket. If anyone out there happens to have one they would like to sell, email me the information and a picture and measurements so I'll be able to tell if it is the correct one! I always check the Cutco magazine when it comes, but this knife has never appeared again! We have other Cutco knives and to be truthful, we couldn't live without any of them! I can always count on the trimmer for most of the cutting jobs I need to do; they remain sharp and are easy to use. I have two at home and just ordered two more for our vacation home. I LIKE THE TRIMMER BECAUSE IT WILL CUT ANYTHING!!!!!
It is a bread knife (especially my homemade Whole Wheat Bread);
" paring knife".
" fruit knife"; It is a table "steak knife"; it trims fat off of grilled
meats; it fits my hand perfectly; It stays sharp (only send it to you
about every year and a half); it cuts fishing line, cord, package
tape, envelopes, thread, and cuts and cleans fish! Please keep
up your standard of excellence. We use many of your knives, but
the trimmer is my all time favorite! Thank you very much!

quality products, and since I already had several paring knives, I
wanted something that was unique and could function in several
different capacities. It can evenly spread icing on my cakes with its wide blade, and it can also cut slices like a dream. It can chop my vegetables and fruits in clean, precise cuts. It does just about any-
thing that I want it to do...the all-purpose knife!

I use it everyday for sandwiches and anything I need to divide between children. It is a wonderful and useful kitchen item. I can use it as a spreader for mayo or mustard; I can use the serated edge to slice lunchmeat and/or cheese, tomatoes, pickles, onions, etc.; and I can then use it to cut the sandwiches in two pieces. I can slide the spatula under the halves to place them on the individual plates. I can use it to then rake small scraps off the plates. I do not have to use another knife or utensil making sandwiches for lunch. It is wonderful.

The steak knife goes beyond its obvious namesake and use at the dinner table. Whether cutting large steamed vegetables into manageable pieces or quartering slices of fried zucchini, it truly feels like cutting through butter effortlessly. I confess that I almost always use the steak knife in food preparation much like a paring knife or my second favorite cutco knife, the trimmer. It's my kitchen utility knife. I even have a leather sheath that I use to take on campouts or day trips to the beach. It's been over 20 years, and they're still going strong.

One advantage is that there are no sharp points to poke you when you reach into a basket or bag to get it. Two families went camping one summer weekend. We loaded up and drove 5 hours to the South end of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado. A federal park with a beautiful view. That friday night we unpacked in the rain and were ready for a campfire and some beans and weiners. But, we forgot the can opener and only had a Cutco steak knife. And to be honest we had no idea where this knife had come from, so, I started sawing the can and stated to the group, "if this knife opens this can I will buy a whole set of these. Needless to say we are now the proud owners of a total of 26 knives and utensils. We love this product and people actually think we are sales people for this company because of the passion they sense when we talk about the cutco products.
